Job Title: Insurance Business Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  • Head of the Insurance business unit; Would be responsible for managing a team of insurance brokers to drive business performance
  • Creating your own new opportunities through self-generated leads
  • Meet with and develop relationships with key decision makers from a range of businesses
  • Use technical Insurance knowledge to suitably advise your clients on the necessary levels of insurance cover required to adequately insure their business
  • Maintain relationships with your clients throughout the life of the policy to ensure excellent renewal retention ratio

Job Requirements

  • Experience of team management and business development skills

  • Must be a certified Insurance broker
  • Minimum of 10 Years working experience required
  • Ability to successfully lead a team to achieve aims and objectives, through focus, inspiration and motivation
  • Commercial awareness of the insurance sector and any developments in this sector
  • Identifying and closing performance gaps in the business to achieve maximum profitability
  • Financial Acumen
  • Business related Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree in business administration is desirable
