1. Training Manager, Jumia Vendor University

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a training role, covering both technical and soft skills training; experience in retail is an asset
  • Expertise in developing, planning, implementing and assessing training
  • Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with subject matter.
  • Skilled in use of training technology for delivery and use of technology for development of training materials and general work deliverables.
  • Excellent one-to-many and one-to-one communication skills in both classroom and tutorial settings.
  • Excellent communication skills for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development, including superior skill in explaining technical topics to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts and managers.
  • Demonstrated experience developing classroom activities and reviews, job aids, online tutorials and/or other training materials.

2. Accounts Receivable Manager

Professional Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 8+ years of experience as an Accounts Receivable in a high-growth and fast-paced environment
  • Must have at least 5+ years of experience in AR function including direct responsibility of assigned client account oversight, preferably in a manufacturing company.
  • Professional qualification like ICAN, ACCA, ACA is a must
  • Extensive experience in the development and application of policies and procedures for collections and credit
  • Experience with accounts reconciliations and closing procedures for accounts receivable
  • Must have proven abilities in process improvement, developing/documenting procedures, influencing all levels of management.
  • Positive attitude, strong analytical and investigative skills, high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Focused and driven to analyze problems and collaborate with others to identify and deliver solutions
  • Ability to work in the detail and also see the big picture and communicate to appropriate internal parties (CEO, CFO, Controllers etc.)

3. Corporate Sales Executive – Jumia Travel

Professional Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field
  • 3 – 5 years experience selling travel packages to B2B
  • Candidates with personal travel experience will be preferred
  • Exemplary sales skills and customer oriented approach
  • Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc)
  • Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
  • Ability to understand client’s needs and present solutions
  • Understanding of market and product.
